New Product Development Manager - Packaging Design (1-3 yrs)
Job Description :
- Managing the ideation process for new products and conducting market research to identify customer needs and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to develop product concepts and specifications.
- Liaison with manufacturing partners to ensure timely production and delivery of new products.
- Monitor the development process, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Work on product design, packaging, and labeling to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Manage the testing and evaluation of prototypes and samples, making adjustments as needed.
- Work on the launch of new products, including planning and executing product launches and coordinating with the sales and marketing teams to ensure successful market penetration.
- Continuously evaluate the performance of existing products and suggest improvements to maintain their competitive edge in the market.
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in product design, technology, and innovation.
- Ensure the visibility of incoming inventory for key stakeholders.
- Liaison with our existing manufacturing partners to ensure inventory production and delivery timelines.
- Work with our design team to proofread packaging files and contribute to new design ideas.
- Coordinate with the internal team with respect to the logistics of incoming inventory
- 1-3 years of experience in product development or a related field
- Strong understanding of the product development process, including ideation, concept development, prototyping, testing, and launch.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in market research, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Experience with product pricing, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
