Position : Installation Head - Elevators
Location : Chennai.
Job Summary :
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Elevator Installation Head to lead our elevator installation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the elevator installation process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Elevator Installation Head will play a crucial role in coordinating with various stakeholders, managing a team of installers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee elevator installation projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project timelines, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
- Lead and manage a team of elevator installers, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the highest level of workmanship.
- Conduct inspections and reviews to verify compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Communicate project updates, resolve issues, and address client concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all installation activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the installation team.
- Manage resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and manpower.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of required materials.
- Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including installation records, change orders, and project reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in elevator installation, with at least in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of elevator systems, codes, and regulations.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Professional certifications in elevator installation and project management are a plus.
