Tasks :

- Read & analyze blueprints and specifications for assembly and testing of products;

- Implement and monitor the zero defect principal along the value stream to avoid any deviations & implement continuous improvement with Kaizen and PDCA;

- Inspect, test and measure materials or products being produced along the value stream;

- Accept or reject WIP & finished items regarding customer specification;

- Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications;

- Discuss inspection results with the responsible person for the manufacturing process & define corrective actions;

- Report inspection and test data planning of value streams, time studies and work analysis in the value stream;

- Establish an effective and efficient work sequence in the different production areas regarding Quality, Timing and Costs (magic triangle);

- Interface between Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Product development;

- Making improvements to current operations to enhance efficiency & optimizing processes with Quality methods & tools;

- Monitoring of Quality KPI's regarding supplier performance, customer complaints & internal data (DPMO);

- Evaluate existing manufacturing & testing processes regarding Quality standards to fulfill customer requirements;

- Create Quality processes/procedures to achieve quality, timing and cost goals for the products;

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to ensure collaborating and cohesion;

Profile :

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required;

- Some years experience in design and quality of production in electrical systems;

- Strong experience with Quality tools and a good background with DIN ISO Standards (9001- );

- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills;

- Vocational training in technical fields plus additional qualification as an Quality engineer; desirable degree as an industrial engineer;

- Ideally several years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering Field/Energy sector;

- Good English skills of spoken and written;

- PC knowledge, especially MS Office, PPS and CAQ-Systems;

- Wide spread awareness of quality incl. problem-solving skills and team working skills;

- Good leadership skills & analytical skills;
