The candidates will be reporting to the Companys Hyderabad, India location.
Responsibilities
Key accountabilities for this role include:
- Be able to understand the rudiments of conducting Wireless assessments with full engagement with stakeholders
- Be able to work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert for Wireless related network services
- Able to train field engineers on infrastructure assessment, and wireless site surveys.
- Provide Wireless expertise/solutions for Nivid projects/customers worldwide.
- UndertakeWireless readiness assessments, work with the team on remediation actions and reports
- Willing to work hard and attainthe required Wireless level certifications.
- Work on technology from certain OEMs e.g.,Cisco/Meraki/Aruba/Extreme Wireless Networksetc.
Requirements :
The job requirements are as follows:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Three plus (3+)years of experience in WLAN Design and implementation.
- Some exposure/experience with wireless site surveys, including Predictive, Passive and Active approaches.
- Some hands on experience utilizing Airmagnet and Ekahau wireless tools.
- Capable of generating Survey Reports using Templates.
- Good understanding of 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax WLAN technologies, RF designing and Optimization.
- Able to work independently on the implementation projects with little, to no supervision
- Exposure to routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP and VRF would be an advantage
- Cisco wireless certification, CCNA Routing/Wireless would be an advantage.
- Awareness and exposure to managing the WLAN using Cisco Prime Infrastructure/Aruba Airwave/Meraki Dashboard/Aruba Central is an advantage.
- Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass experience would be would be an advantage.
