O2Spa - Interior Designer - Civil Projects (10-12 yrs)
- Coordinate with external interior designers in developing concept in presentation for design approval from management.
- Review and study drawings received from architects, understand design aspects and understand needs and current design trends.
- Identify alternatives of materials in the market such that it is as per cost and quality required.
- Create a database or a library of materials for ready reference.
- Keep track of changes in architectural drawing and amend design as per current plan.
- Identify vendor for sourcing of specialized materials such as modular kitchens, furniture, light fixture, etc.
- Coordinate with purchase of understanding cost and quality of material to be purchased.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants for project design. Ensure that the project is executed as per the company requirements.
- Ensure that schedules related to design aspects are followed. Plan and sequence work, detail critical aspects of design.
- Understand civil and project details in order to carry out work such as; wall thickness, directions, plot area, no. of buildings and floors, etc.
- Update corrections in work on the system ready retrieval of information.
- Participate in review meetings and provide inputs on status of project, keep the planning team updated on schedules.
- Monitor time schedules and report delays.
- Keep track on latest, visit exhibitions and competitors projects.
- Suggest new and innovative options in design and implement new concepts.
- Coordinate with site engineers and projects for tracking execution as per given layouts and design.
