OEM Manager - Global Porcelain Tile Company

Our client is global leader in Porcelain tile industry across the globe and has been in this business for more than 30 years. They started India operations in 2014 and have been expanding from then. They need an OEM Manager based out of Morbi in Gujrat, India to further the business reach and collaborate with different OEMs across India.

Reporting into the CEO and managing 6 people from product development, procurement, warehouse, QC, CCD and Product Planning, you will be responsible for :

- Identifying and developing suitable OEMs to support Niro India operations

- Nnegotiating with OEMs for best deals and lowest costs possible to support the business

- Carrying out audit together with the team to ensure the right OEMs chosen to support the business

- Ensuring the quality systems in place and adhere to for products produced by selected OEMs via QC team

- Knowing market trends for products developments together with Product Development Manager.

- Working closely with internal and external customers to ensure full supports given to improve operations hence sales

- Ensuring warehousing and logistics are set up properly and improve our supply chains hence improve operations and sale performance for the company

- Managing and controlling opex to minimum and most effective

- Constant communication with Superior and HQ in Malaysia to update latest developments in the market for better plans and preparations and potential growth

- Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports to Superior and relevant parties.

Ideally you have an Engineering degree with a minimum of 8 years of work experience in OEM management preferably in building/construction materials industry. You have good communication skills and an ability to talk to locals as well. You should be open to travel and should understand Indian geographical locations. You should have excellent negotiation skills to crack the best deals. You should have demonstrated excellent track record in your last roles and should be ready for the next challenging role in a growing business.
