Role: Sr Procurement Officer

Responsibility Deliverable :

1. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries, payment terms.

2. Should work on achieving the department goals and the individual key performances.

3. Examine and test existing contracts.

4. Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers.

5. Notify Plant head in a timely manner if a critical delivery is going to be late.

6. Read and understand Arora Engineering's customer drawings and then telling the team to float the requirement accordingly.

7. An important skill that Procurement Personnel need to exhibit is great planning. A Procurement Personnel should have the ability to create an effective timeline for work and completing tasks.

8. Procurement managers are faced with some tough decisions. To be successful, a Procurement Personnel must be able to assess a situation and come up with the best course of action possible.

9. Time management is another essential skill every Procurement Personnel should exhibit. In a plant, there are specific deadlines to have raw material/spares on time in the plant. Without proper time management, these deadlines will be difficult to meet and can lead to failure.

10. Scrutinizing the details provided by the suppliers either through documents and physical verification & ensuring the work progress on timely manner.
