Officer / Sr. Officer / Asst. Manager - Purchase @ Visakhapatnam (FEMALE)

Candidates residing in Gajuwaka / must be willing to relocate to Gajuwaka will have advantage.

Language proficiency: Telugu / English / Hindi

Qualification: Any graduate. Qualification in Purchase/Supply Chain Management would be advantageous.

Experience: 3 to 6 yrs experience in Engineering / cement / ceramics / mineral/refractories/paints & processing industries

Key Skills:

1. Purchasing of raw materials/services / process of materials / Repairs of plants items /Contract Management

2. Facilitate the interaction with local suppliers and other service functions

3. Compile offers and get Technical Recommendation

4. Formulate negotiation strategy and get clearance to negotiate

5. Negotiate prices and terms

6. Placement of order with Schedules

7. Ensuring smooth supply of items to enable uninterrupted production

8. Achieving targeted saving

9. Coordination with all user departments / internal customers

10. Preparation of MIS and weekly / monthly review with Reporting Managers / HOD

11. Resolve all purchase issues and coordinate with internal customers (user dept.) / Supply Vendors / Freight Vendors/ accounts payable department to process all invoices against Short supply, Rejections poor quality and inferior performances, Pending payments, expediting delivery etc

Knowledge / Skills required :

- Product knowledge (cost structure, lead time, technical features)

- Negotiation skills (Techno commercial negotiations, Cost Saving initiatives)

- Analyse applicability and impact of taxes and duties on procurement items with respect to different sourcing locations

- Basic knowledge of transport, insurance,

- Knowledge of Supplier Market

- Knowledge of MS Office
