Job Title : Automation System Lead Architect

Job Summary :

As a Automation Lead, you will be responsible for designing, development and support of Automation Systems applications for high speed and high precision operations. You will be working closely with the Mechanical, Control and Electrical Engineers to define the requirements for the creation of total business solutions. You will be responsible for setting up Automation systems such as hardware set-up, software testing, package setup, data collection, evaluation reports, buy offs etc. You will be required to evaluate and establish Automation system performance specifications and to support all on-sites issues. You need to be able and willing to work extended hours in critical phases of project execution.

Key Result Areas (Accountability & Responsibility of the role) :

- Lead development of innovative PLC, IPC & Embedded Systems

- Lead conceptual research, trade-off analysis and system definition/design of an advanced hi-speed Automation systems

- Lead integration and optimizations of Manufacturing Discrete Assembly and Continuous Process System and their integrations, with emphasis on high speed data acquisition technology, and optical modules

Key Skills Required :

- In depth experience in Installation and commission and application development of PLC Systems. (i.e. Siemens, Beckhoff etc.)

- Knowledge of Selection, Configuration and Integration of PLC, IPC, IO Cards, Smart Sensors system in a high speed assembly line

- Min 12+ years of Hands On experience in Automation & Control Systems Selection, Implementation, Programming and Integration with Lines

- Fluent Writing Skills in Technical Content Writing like FDS, FAT/SAT Test Documentation, Technical Procedures & Manuals etc

- Knowledge of Matlab or Python skills will be an added advantage.

- Extensive experience with performance analysis of various Control & Embedded systems, identifying major error sources, mapping, and presenting trade-offs.

- Designing & Performing FAT, SAT tests

- Familiar with Laser, Camera Systems Integrations.

- Self-motivated individual who is action/result oriented, independent, flexible, with a passion for developing technical excellence products

- Good social skills - a - can do- attitude and ability to work in a team - must

Target Companies :
