Job Description - Operation Manager

Greenitio is a Singapore-based climate tech startup specializing in the development of functional biopolymer ingredients to replace microplastics and non-renewable polymers in consumer products. We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our innovative and sustainable team. This role requires a strong understanding of the consumer care industry and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities :

- Manage and optimize daily operations for the development and production of bio-based materials in consumer care industries.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness in bio-based materials development.

- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to operational staff involved in research, development, and production.

- Track operational metrics, assess performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

- Ensure optimal resource allocation to meet operational goals.

- Oversee inventory control, procurement activities, and implement tailored inventory management systems for bio-based materials.

- Establish and enforce quality standards to meet customer expectations in terms of performance, sustainability, and safety.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies and drive successful implementation of bio-based materials.

- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in the bio-based materials industry.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance in bio-based materials development.

Qualifications :

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications or an equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in operations management within the consumer care industry, with a focus on sustainable product development or bio-based materials.

- Strong analytical skills to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions in bio-based materials development.

- Proven leadership abilities in motivating teams and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in the bio-based materials industry.

- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

- Proficiency in operational software, tools, and systems within the bio-based materials industry. Experience with sustainable product development practices and supply chain management is a plus.

- Familiarity with consumer care industries, regulations, market trends, and sustainability initiatives.
