Core responsibilities :

Production management : Develop and implement production schedules, monitor output, and ensure deadlines are met. This includes managing raw materials and finished goods inventory.

Quality assurance : Establish and maintain quality standards for corrugated products, conduct quality checks, and implement improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company requirements.

Team leadership : Lead, train, and supervise production staff and management to maintain productivity, discipline, and performance.

Operational efficiency : Monitor machine performance, reduce downtime through preventive maintenance, and implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement processes like Lean manufacturing or 5S.

Safety and compliance : Ensure adherence to all safety standards, best practices, and statutory regulations to maintain a safe work environment.

Cross-functional coordination : Collaborate with other departments like procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure a smooth workflow from start to finish.

Performance reporting : Prepare and analyze reports on production performance, quality, equipment maintenance, and other operational metrics to drive improvement.

- Experience in plant or operations management, preferably in the corrugated packaging industry.
