Operations Manager - Production Management (2-8 yrs)
Job Details :
Title : Operations Manager
- The operations manger ensures that all operatives controls and measures are taken for smooth running of the products at client sites and handling the products during Idle time to keep the product performance ready at all the time
- Must have good oral and written communication skills as profile requires a lot of interaction with senior management as well as across operations team Techno Savvy and Flair for MIS/Data crunching Reliable & versatile
- Will be required to work against tight guidelines Team player and good\communication and presentation skills
Budgeting and Planning :
- Prepare budgets for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Operations
- Spares and Consumables
Day to day operations :
- Review customer work order terms and carefully check the same for projects and installations & commissioning terms, penalty clause and dead lines
- Make site assessment visits prior/during all critical jobs and make detailed technical report on job feasibility and recommendations
- Ensure proper coordination between marketing, transportation, operations, and quality department from mobilization to assembly at customer site
- Closely follow-up for timely commissioning of projects at sites and initiating log sheets
- Maintain and keep a database of quality operators, mechanics and engineers and installer's for future reference /recruitment on projects
- Supervisors/customer visits to operative sites for review
- Ensure all safety compliances are adhered to at the sites like Safety, Valid labor and Right Installer on right sites
- Ensure that installer /third party provides documentation duly signed by customers for vender payments, transportation payments
- Customer signing on log sheets for any delay caused due to customer at sites
Asset Management :
- Ensure the complete safety, accounting and visibility of the companys assets and accessories
- Periodically audit the quantity. Quality of assets and accessories and report findings Ensure 100 % Asset & accessory mapping in system on real tome basis Maintenance Ensure 95 % uptime of Equipment
- 100% compliance to preventive Maintenance schedules and Periodic Maintenance plan
- Breakdown management Timely availability of Spare parts, mechanics, engineer on the machine in the most efficient and cost effective manner
- Spare part planning Plan for stock of critical spare parts and maintain buffer stock at site
- Ensuring On time delivery every time on client sites
- Ensuring that proper purchases are done to ensure on time production
- Maintaining quality standards at each stage of production from material entering premises to in house production, online production, pre-dispatch production, and site installation quality checking standards tobe maintained
MIS REPORTS :
- Ensure 100% reports are generated from system with complete accuracy and reliability
- Prepare MIS pack for management Daily, weekly and Monthly
- Key analytics Daily Breakdown, preventive & Periodic maintenance Update, location wise assembly, Inventory at sites, Breakdown revenue loss, project commissioning report, Overall Expenses budget vs Actual expenses on projects to ensure profitable operations
- Maintain professional and cordial relations with customers at corporate as well as site representatives
- Respond to service escalation from customers promptly and provide resolution with commitment
- Communicate effectively with customers and keep them updated on emails on regular basis
- Customer relations
