PEB Design Engineer (2-6 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and estimation of steel buildings using built-up and cold-formed sections, in compliance with client specifications and Indian Standard grades.
- Structural analysis and modelling using Metal Building Software (MBS) and STAAD Pro as per international standards (MBMA, AISC, ASCE, IBC).
- Design of structural connections using IDEA StatiCa and RAM Connection.
- Proof-check erection drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with approved designs.
- Collaborate with internal departments: Detailing, Procurement, Production, and Erection for seamless design-to-execution transition.
- Provide technical support during erection and suggest practical design modifications to resolve site issues efficiently.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Good technical knowledge in MBS, STAAD Pro, IDEA StatiCa, RAM Connection.
- Strong understanding of international and Indian codes (MBMA, AISC, ASCE, IBC, IS codes).
- Good knowledge of fabrication standards and steel building systems.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate design intent clearly.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially during execution and site activities.
