Role :

Manage Line operations

1. Meet Routine Quality Control Schedules

2. Record, analyze and report line performance in various quality standard line logs for production area

3. Lead TPM activities in quality for production areas

4. Drive high quality people processes for associates in quality at line

Accountabilities :

1. Meet Routine Quality Control Schedules

1.1. Ensure line is run as per Quality Mandates and in accordance to the appointed schedule of testing.

1.2. Carryout Daily Line Checks as per PepsiCo India Quality Requirement.

1.3. Ensure all packing material from Stores is used at line as per PI package standards.

1.4. Ensure Line CIP is carried out as per CIP Mandate requirement and ensure proper data recording.

1.5. Review all Line Data for compliance and ensure all corrections happen on line by appropriate Production Team members.

1.6. Ensure all Minimum Mandate Requirement during production run are complied. Carryout continual audit to ensure compliance and record them.

1.7. Ensure operating safety in equipment before line start up.

1.8. Escalate any quality problem to the Quality In charge/ Coordinator as needed for resolution.

1.9. Ensure Basic running maintenance is done - which will ensure Good Quality production performance

1.10. Calibration of line equipment

1.11. Write all key shift information in the QC shift Log and ensure proper handover and take over during shift change.

1.12. On line update on SAP during the shift as needed.

1.13. Ensure Isolation of NON CONFORMING product at an appropriate location and with proper documentation.

1.14. Ensure 5 steps FM process complied on line during the shift

1.15. Ensure Food Safety requirement on GHK/ Hygiene / Process Standards are met. Undertake appropriate corrections / escalation as needed

1.16. Proper samples for microbiology tests

1.17. Support corrective action for online solving of quality defects

2. Record, analyze and report line performance KPIs in Line Logs ; M&W and SAP by run.

2.1. Record Physio parameters in daily line log (ensure line issues and line setting are recorded).

2.2. Record Scheduled stoppages and various corrections undertaken time to time.

2.3. Record Line Issues and Corrections undertaken / correction sought with Production Team

2.4. Carryout CD on syrup taken for line and perform TOA, Brix,TA plan for line start up.

2.5. Record various Process Control Parameters at BW, Warmer, Labeller, Date Coder, Filler,

2.6. Mix processor in appropriate records.

3. Lead TPM activities in quality

3.1. 5S of areas surrounding line equipment.

3.2. Ensure daily JH by circles.

3.3. Ensure QM Pillar activities

3.4. Why-Why analysis of quality defects.

3.5. Lead weekly circle meetings.

4. Drive high quality people processes for associatesin quality at line

4.1. Performance appraisal of associates

4.2. Drive fun @ work

4.3. Recommend Loans, advances, leaves and R&R for associates

4.4. Drive employee engagement initiatives through both formal & informal R&R

4.5. Establish connect with associates team & family on a periodic basis

4.6. Grievance Handling for associates

4.7. B2B/QC Tools trainings of associates and also evaluate multi skill progression

4.8. Deployment, training and leave management of Light Inspectors on the line

Experience & Qualification: 1- 3 years of experience in FMCG,

B.Sc - Chemistry, Microbiology, B.Tech Food Technologist
