PHE CAD Designer/Modeler (5-7 yrs)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PHE CAD Designer / Modeler with 5- 7 years of proven expertise in Public Health Engineering design and 2D/3D modeling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed PHE layouts, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and developing accurate CAD/BIM models as per international standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare 2D drawings and 3D models of PHE systems (water supply, drainage, stormwater, etc.) using AutoCAD and Revit (or relevant BIM software).
- Interpret PHE design schematics and convert them into accurate models and drawings.
- Coordinate with MEP designers, architects, structural engineers, and project teams to ensure integration of PHE systems.
- Ensure all drawings/models meet applicable codes, project specifications, and client standards.
- Revise drawings/models as per mark-ups, RFIs, or design updates.
- Assist in clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or other coordination tools.
- Maintain drawing/document control and follow internal QA/QC procedures.
- Support design leads and engineers during all design phases, including concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Civil/ Building Services Engineering or related field.
- 5- 7 years of relevant experience in PHE system drafting/modelling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (mandatory); experience with Navisworks, BIM 360 is a plus.
- Strong understanding of plumbing and drainage system layouts, fixture connections, pipe routing, and coordination principles.
- Familiarity with international design codes and standards (e.g., IPC, BS, NBC, etc.).
- Attention to detail with excellent drafting and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
