- ldentify Single Source raw material & P2P and qualify reliable alternate source with support of R&D team.
- Steering strategic sourcing of various direct materials through identification of cost effective vendors with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability.
- Low cost country sourcing, identification & qualification of new vendors in order to reduce the dependency on single source.
- Developing supplier market intelligence, understand supplier market economics, develop pricing benchmarks and formulating RM cost templates.
- Work in close co-ordination with technical team and other cross functional team for executions of NPI [New Product Introduction] programs
- Perform Spend Analysis and identify avenues of cost reduction
- Manage the sampling and product approval process for the project /New Product development
Candidate Profile :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procuring raw materials from chemical industry only.
- Candidates with B.E. Chemical preferred.
