Job Description - Head of Architectural Services

- Pinnacle is currently seeking an Architecture BIM Head to contribute to the development and implementation of BIM support throughout our ACS projects. 


- Primary duties include the setup of Revit Models for all projects; provide assistance and mentoring for Revit users as well as host regular educations sessions; establish standard practices and families; help create and improve interoperability within Revit for increased sharing of information and efficiencies as well as work with other offices to help develop companywide standards.

More specific duties include :

Project Interface :

- Coordinate project standards with Client

- Assist project teams in BIM project setup

- Create and maintain templates for clients and internal

- Day to day bugs, fixes, issues, etc.

- Model management

In house and 3rd party plug-ins

Hardware & Network

- Evaluate and Support as it relates to BIM Production

- Select proper hardware to keep improving production

Software :

- Evaluate

- Install

- Custom Programming

- Implement

- Manage and Support

Standards & Procedures

- Develop

- Maintain

- Train

- This includes families and content

Training

- Develop training for New Hires and Ongoing Training for current staff

- Organize scheduled meeting with BIM users and engineers to empower users and improve production

Research : Continuous research of new BIM solutions

Qualifications :

- Professional degree in Civil /Architecture

- 15+ years AEC industry experience

- Proficiency in Revit, Revit Add-Ins, Tekla, Civil 3D, Inventor, AutoCAD, BlueBeam studio, RebarCAD, AGACAD,

- Familiarity with content management solutions and strategies required

- Desire to teach others about design technologies in daily practice

- Aptitude toward technology and analytical problem-solving skills

- Ability to challenge status quo in a constructive and successful fashion and mentor staff

- Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills

- Strong interpersonal communication and demonstrated oral and written presentation skills

- Experience and interest in sustainable design and LEED process desired

- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

- Demonstrated experience in execution of owner-driven BIM guidelines, as well as the creation and deployment of Project Execution Plans (PxP) preferred.
