Piping Designer (6-10 yrs)
1. Design layout in 3D models of equipment, piping, structures and instrumentation in a skid with consideration to:
- Provide safe operation and access for operators of the package
- Minimise fabrication cost through optimisation of pipe and cable tray routing
- Follow international standards and project specifications
2. Understanding of the fundamental process and mechanical requirements of the company's process packages
3. Able to spatially conceptualize and translate ideas into design drawings
4. Familiar with the requirements of Oil & Gas drawings, including normal symbology and the requirement for consistency
5. Understand the data requirements of drawings being produced to facilitate an efficient fabrication process
6. Ability to translate technical data into equipment drawings
7. Familiarity with fabrication practices
8. Produce detailed drawings for both proposal and project requirements
9. Ensure that fabrication drawings clearly present information to the shop floor
10. Resolve issues during fabrication, such as physical clashes
11. Review drawings produced by others
Engineering Degree -- Mechanical or equivalent experience
6 years experience in Oil & Gas or related industry
