Planning Manager (4-6 yrs)
Job role- Planning Manager (Hospitality Projects)
Location- Gurugram
Experience- 4 to 6 years
Work mode - 5 days work from office

Mandatory Skills- Projects planning hospitality, Projects Base build projects, MSP Design, coordination, Manpower planning, material Management, NICMAR .
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Understanding & Planning
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the project scope, objectives, and challenges.
- Prepare macro and micro level project schedules.
- Structure schedules into various categories including:
- Overall project program
- Tender schedules
- Design schedules
- Individual work package schedules
2. Project Scheduling
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Manage activity sequencing and dependency planning.
- Perform resource leveling and schedule optimization.
- Prepare and maintain master construction schedules.
3. Resource & Productivity Planning
- Understand and analyze productivity levels of different trade workers.
- Evaluate manpower and material requirements.
- Identify potential resource shortages and productivity issues.
4. Schedule Monitoring & Control
- Monitor and track the master construction schedule agreed with contractors.
- Provide regular schedule updates and progress reports.
- Analyze deviations and recommend corrective actions.
5. Design Development & Coordination
- Anticipate design requirements at the early stage of the project.
- Manage design coordination and documentation with consultants and design teams.
6. Contract Documentation & Submittals
- Establish procedures for reviewing and processing:
- Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Clarifications and interpretations of contract documents
- Shop drawings
- Material samples and technical submittals
7. Risk Anticipation & Problem Solving
- Anticipate potential construction and design challenges 4- 5 months in advance.
- Recommend practical solutions to mitigate delays or risks.
8. Resource Analysis
Analyze material and manpower data to identify potential shortfalls.
Track schedule and inform stakeholders regarding material procurement requirements.
9. Communication & Reporting
- Prepare and circulate meeting agendas and Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
- Ensure timely communication with project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
10. Procurement Planning
- Develop Material and Equipment Procurement Schedules.
- Identify long-lead items and ensure timely ordering and delivery.
