Job Summary
Provide strategic and operational leadership for a Semiconductor & Wire Manufacturing plant, ensuring high output, equipment uptime, process excellence, yield optimization, safety compliance, and effective people management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and delivery performance
- Drive production planning, wafer/wire line scheduling, and dispatch timelines
- Ensure high equipment availability through preventive maintenance, breakdown response, and vendor coordination
- Monitor process yield, scrap reduction, defect analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Implement and audit SOPs for semiconductor processing and wire manufacturing lines
- Manage manpower productivity, shifts, KPIs, and plant-floor discipline
- Control CAPEX/OPEX utilization, material efficiency, and operational budgets
- Ensure statutory compliance, safety audits, and incident-free operations
- Publish accurate daily/weekly plant performance reports and improvement roadmaps
Qualification & Experience
- BE (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) from reputed institute or Diploma with 20+ yrs plant exposure
- Minimum 10- 12 years of plant leadership experience in manufacturing environments
Skills Required
- Strong operational decision-making and crisis management
- Yield and process-driven mindset
- Fluent English communication (written + spoken)
- Understanding of industrial automation, manufacturing KPIs, and high-precision production
