Role Objective : This is green field role created to establish process driven, optimized and state of art futuristic production (processing and packaging) operations and develop superior technical talent to support business growth plans.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Proven experience of managing Multi location - Plant Operations preferably in a similar Industry and Projects.

- Sound understanding of Statutory requirements, Quality standards and ESH (Environment, Safety & Health) regulations.

- Strong decision-making skills and results-driven approach.

- Possessing a problem-solving attitude.

- Proven team management skills having demonstrated ability to build teams, motivate people, assess & enhance employee performance and develop talent.

- Certifications in ISO procedures, continual improvement programs, Six Sigma, etc.

Education : BE, MBA from institute of repute.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead Plant operations and team to deliver desired production output seamlessly on ongoing basis to achieve and exceed objectives, KPIs and expectations.

- Understand, Review, Analyse, Improve and Establish critical production processes.

- Ensure focus on Quality. Improve and Establish sustainable Quality processes

- Collaborate with other functional Heads and Management teams (Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Field Production, Quality, Finance and R&D) to ensure Inventory, Quality, Sales Revenue and Cost Objectives are well supported and met.

- Ensure robust preventative maintenance mechanisms/programs being followed at the plant and arrange for necessary approvals for replacement/ procuring of plant infrastructure wherever and when necessary.

- Monitoring the expenses periodically to maintain superior cost efficiencies at the plant

- Ensure highest focus on ESH; review, improve, establish and continuously practice safety processes and programs. Ensure safest workplace is created at all the times.

- Identify and review required Human resources along with HR & seek approvals from Segment Head.

Lead and evaluate performance of various teams in the plant.

- Generate data and routine reports for all plant activities and KPIs. Conduct periodic reviews with department heads at the plant. Conduct gap analysis and improve the processes wherever necessary.

- Ensuring harmonious relationship with employees and maintain high morale in the Plant.

- Direct and coordinate various programs essential to continual improvement of plant process (e.g., training, safety, quality, cost optimization, excellence programs, employee engagement, etc.).

- Initiate and coordinate major projects, as and when necessary (e.g., plant layout changes, installation of capital equipment, major repairs, etc.)

- Identify and develop young talent for future leadership and succession plan.

- Implementation of guidelines for energy, water conservation, consumables, Ingredients, manpower cost reduction etc.,

- Ensure Budgetary Controls on all the cost parameters.

- Evaluation of Common Operational Procedures (COPs) and initiate measures to take up reduction in COP

- Imbibe, establish and practice highest sense of urgency and ensure agile and timely response to support external market requirement at agricultural industry market place.
