Plant Head (General Manager/VP) - Manufacturing

- Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of a manufacturing plant's operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of production, maintenance, quality, and other operational departments.

Key Responsibilities.:

- Developing and implementing production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet customer demands and production targets.

- Ensuring that the plant meets quality standards and regulations and taking corrective actions to address any issues.

- Overseeing the maintenance of plant equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

- Ensuring that the plant complies with all relevant safety regulations and environmental policies.

- Monitoring production costs, analyzing process inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving measures.

- Managing the manufacturing team, providing leadership, mentoring, and developing employees.

- Identifying opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reductions.

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of new equipment, as well as managing projects within the plant.

Qualification And Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is typically required with Minimum Extensive experience of 22 Plus in manufacturing operations, with a strong track record of leadership and management.

2. Knowledge of established as well as leading-edge tools and concepts in manufacturing like TPM, 5S, Kaizen, Six sigma etc.

3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

4. Experience in budget management, cost control, and project management.

5. Liaisoning with other functions at the corporate level, such as sales and finance.

6. Exemplary integrity and work ethics

7. Skilled in dealing with workmen and good understanding of labour laws, environmental norms/applications.

8. A proven skill set demonstrating effective communication, planning and organization, sound judgment, follow-up and control, and leadership
