Plant Head - Performance & cost (15-20 yrs)
- We are seeking a hands-on Plant Head - Performance & Cost to lead factory operations in a growing mid-sized manufacturing setup currently operating at approximately 6000 tonnes per annum. The organization is entering a structured scaling phase with defined targets to increase turnover and strengthen EBITDA margins over the next 2- 3 years. This role is critical for performance stabilization, cost control, and operational discipline.
- The position requires a factory-floor-driven leader who has successfully improved production output, reduced wastage, and enhanced overall equipment effectiveness in a mid-sized plant environment. The incumbent will work closely with supervisors, labour teams, maintenance, and production planning functions to build strong daily review systems and measurable KPIs.
- Key focus areas include increasing sustainable production capacity, reducing yield losses, improving machine uptime, strengthening preventive maintenance systems, and driving cost transparency across departments. The role demands rigorous execution, real-time performance monitoring, and structured problem-solving to improve operational contribution margins.
- The ideal candidate brings 15- 20 years of manufacturing experience with strong exposure to production control, maintenance systems, OEE improvement, and cost discipline. A background in mechanical, production, or textile engineering is preferred. Long-term commitment and the ability to build systems in evolving environments are essential for success in this role.
