Plant Head - Productions (15-25 yrs)
- Build the world-class Battery cutting, Lead smelting and refining facilities as per the current business requirement and have capacity enhancement for future business objectives and also able to accommodate sharp increase in production in short span of time
- Collaborate with management and sales team to understand the current and future business requirements, make a robust planning with his production team to deliver on-time, high quality and cost effective product.
- Design complete Production process based on lean manufacturing process management to improve efficiencies and optimization of available resources and ensure having tenacity to sustain aggressive growth and Develop contingency plans to mitigate manpower risks, labor risks, etc.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes and parameters (SLAs) are laid down and documented properly and also ensure processes and SLAs are followed by people rigorously, Responsible for adhering to the agreed internal and external Service Level Agreements
- Keep control on Operative cost of manufacturing team to ensure better gross margin and profitability through enhancement of processes, cost optimization projects and innovation
- Ensure that the plant operates with minimum wastage thereby increasing the efficiency of the plant
- Responsible for periodic maintenance of the plant, ensuing minimum break down and loss of production
- Align service schedules for all the equipment at the plant
- Should have experience as a `Plant Head in a mid-sized non-ferrous recycling company, preferable Lead recycling
- Should have good knowledge of all the local and national laws for running a plant like this
- Should have represented the company in front of government authorities in response to notices and queries
- Should have experience of liaisoning with local authorities
- Should have experience in dealing with large worker force
