Plant Manager Requirement

We have an excellent opportunity for - Plant Manager- with our client in Chennai.

About the Client:

OUR Client was incorporated in 1988, to manufacture revolutionary, modified bitumen based, waterproofing membranes and anti corrosive tapes. We pioneered the manufacture and usage of these APP and SBS based bituminous membranes in India. Since then, we have diversified into a number of other product lines, including Road Products, Liquid Waterproofing Membranes, Coatings, Adhesives and Construction Chemicals IWL is a large supplier of Bitumen Emulsion and specialised bitumens for road construction.

IWL is an ISO 9001 certified company. IWL first obtained the certification in 1994 And was in fact the first Indian company to be ISO certified for the manufacture of modified bitumen membranes.

Plant Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

- Previous working experience as a Plant Manager for 5 - 10 Years Qualification required is BE / Diploma Mechanical Engineer

ONLY MALE CANDIDATES :

- In-depth knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources). Relevant experience with various aspects of business such as safety, production, HR, marketing, supply and demand management and other. 


- Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Plant Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations . Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, innovation, information and data security, supply management, marketing, people management, HR and other delivery. Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping. Allocate resources effectively

- Prepare budgets using various forecasting models. Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees. Communicate with employees about performance expectations. Give useful feedback to employees.

- Recruit, hire and onboard new staff. Determine KPIs and measure them on a regular basis. Ensure smooth daily operations. Adhere to company's rules and regulations. Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and technology.
