Planys Technologies - Maintenance Engineer - ROV Products (2-8 yrs)
Job Description :
- Management and execution of technical and administrative tasks for the maintenance of ROV products and their sub- systems, in support of company's objectives across cross functional teams. The work profile involves management and execution of responsibilities listed below.
- Preparation of reports associated with maintenance strategy, by collecting, analysing and summarizing information.
- Manage and coordinate work among cross functional teams to carry out autonomous and preventive maintenance (AM & PM) as per project timelines.
- Conceptualization and implementation of strategies and protocols for repairs, maintenance & testing of ROV products.
- Enforce and improve QMS of maintenance department by developing database of maintenance processes, testing protocols, repairs as per ISO 9001:2015.
- Responsible for budgeting, schedule procurement and project management activities of maintenance department.
- Responsible for resource/inventory store management of ROVs and subsystems.
- Responsible for maintenance and improvement of mechanical & electrical workshop and testing facilities and enforce all statutory, legal, and company requirements to ensure the safety.
- Develop and carry out regular training programs on maintenance procedures for employees.
- Provide support in assembly, testing and validation of ROVs and on site for maintenance of ROVs.
Educational Qualifications :
- B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Industrial Engineering, Naval/Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or an Engineering Degree in a related field.
Recommended Skills :
- Efficient in communication, collaborative work and team management.
- Ability to forecast, plan and overcome challenging situations in an efficient manner.
- Prior experience in managing the workshop, stores and maintenance of integrated mechanical and electrical systems
- Prior experience in process improvement and project management activities
Experience :
- Prior experience with a firm/organization where the candidate has displayed the above skills or a subset of it for a period of at-least 1 year.
- Experience in robotics/maintenance which can be demonstrated through past projects or professional experience.
