Plastics For Change - Associate/Senior Associate - Sustainable Sourcing (2-10 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sourcing, Operations & Supplier Management
- Map, identify, and onboard scrap shops, waste collectors, and aggregators into the sourcing ecosystem
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent and quality material supply.
- Source plastic scrap materials including PET, PP, HDPE, and LDPE to meet facility requirements.
- Achieve sourcing and onboarding targets within defined timelines and cost parameters.
- Monitor material production, quality, yield, and operational efficiency at the facility.
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, loading and unloading efficiency, GPS tracking, fuel consumption, and optimized trip planning.
2. Compliance & Social Additionality Activities
- Plan, implement and monitor social impact and livelihood support programs at all stakeholder levels.
- Ensure timely execution and measurable impact outcomes.
- Facilitate and monitor the deployment of e-tricycles to waste collectors to improve material collection efficiency and livelihoods.
- Implement and ensure adherence to all statutory, operational, EHS, and customer compliance requirements across facility and supply chain.
- Achieve targeted internal audit scores through continuous monitoring, corrective actions, and process improvements.
