Point Cloud Processing Specialist - 3D Laser Scanning Technician (1-3 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilized Leica Cyclone for registering, visualizing, and processing 3D laser scan data from Laser Scanning.
- Performed point cloud registration (both target-based and cloud-to-cloud) to create accurate 3D representations of as-built environments.
- Conducted data alignment and geo-referencing using total station or GNSS coordinates to integrate point clouds with existing CAD systems.
- Created cleaned, unified point clouds for export into CAD (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM software for further modeling and documentation.
- Delivered as-built verification models for construction QA/QC.
- Supported civil infrastructure projects (bridges, tunnels, plants) with detailed 3D models for clash detection and planning.
