Praxien - UGnx Design Engineer (3-7 yrs)

Job Requirement

- Design fabricated components such as piping spools, pump base frames, hoppers, bins, chutes etc used in crushing & screening plants & mineral processing industries

- Good experience in technical drawings

- Ability to evaluate existing designs and propose design optimization and standardization solutions.

- Experience in manufacturing plant or proficiency in manufacturing process will be an added advantage.

- Proficiency in CAD software's preferably UGNX. Job responsibilities

- Create 3D plant layout model as per the technical specification and plant specific parameters.

- Create assembly model and detail part drawings / fabrication drawings using CAD system.

- Good Knowledge on general fabrication principles, basic welding knowledge (AWS & ISO).

- Review drawings and designs to ascertain compliance with customer specifications and to ensure deliverables are workable and manufactural.

- Review and investigate design alternatives and ensure all factors are considered to meet customer specifications.

Education and/or Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 4- 6 years- work experience preferably in mineral processing industry

- Diploma in mechanical engineering with 6-8 years of experience preferably in mineral processing Expertise in CAD tool preferably UGNX or equivalent & acad.
