About the Job

Superior Group is hiring a Press Operators for our customer, a medical device manufacturer located in Buffalo, NY (bus route accessible).

Essential Duties Include:

- The set up and operation of press equipment in accordance with production orders and procedures.

- Interpreting shop paper, blue prints, and drawings.

- Performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on presses making adjustments as needed and contacting maintenance when necessary.

- Materials and supply management for use on production equipment.

- Use of required measuring equipment.

- Making recommendations to the production process based on experience.

Available shift :

- 24/7 shift (7 pm - 7 am) 3 rotating days/week (working every other weekend ($10.50 + shift diff) Temp to Hire!

Required Skills/Qualifications :

- High school diploma or GED

- 6 months of recent experience working in a manufacturing/production related role

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

- 2 years printing experience (process printing, flexography, web offset; wide web in-line printing desirable)

- Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

- Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Additional Information:

- Candidates must have or be able to acquire your own steel toe boots/sneakers.
