Preventive Maintenance Incharge - Predictive/Breakdown Maintenance (10-12 yrs)
Job Description :
- Ensuring that all machines on the shop floor undergo proactive maintenances and as per the schedule and plan.
- Focusing more on Predictive Maintenance part of critical/significant machines through planned efforts to ensure relentless operation & zero breakdown time.
- Detail analysis in a WHY-WHY OR Fish Bone format of all the breakdowns/machine history and machine related issues - inferences - conclusions - action plans and ensuring that ONLY strategic and sustainable solutions are employed.
- Updating the list of preventive & scheduled maintenances from both perspectives, ONE from additional machine/equipment introduced & another from additional type of a checkpoint/inspection point introduced to existing machines.
- Predictive Maintenance Plan should be made - dynamic in nature- and must be prepared after due consultation with production, engineering department.
- Providing expert opinion to the management from time to time w.r.t. AMCs, requirement or non-requirement of its renewals and non-renewals.
- Identifying with each new acquisition of machine/ equipment/instrument etc. whether or not the external expertise is required and also providing expert opinion upon the same.
- Providing due inputs to production in-charge about general machine condition of critical machines & its ability to respond to the production plan through out.
- Ensuring that all the CNC, PLC programs are maintained in soft & at least in 2 different locations. Easy availability/traceability/retrievability must be ensured.
- Daily Gemba Round of the Shop floor for general machine inspections, interactions with operators for understanding subtle machine misbehaviors, symptoms that machine is giving out etc.
- Proactive information passing to all the internal & external stakeholders from machine maintenance point of view in timely manner so as to ensure the higher accuracy levels in Production, Development activity commitments.
- Updating management about general health of all the machines and providing advices on need of reconditioning, refurbishments & new machine acquisitions.
- Extensive training and development of the team through planned efforts. Training needs identification - Gap analysis - Training plan and Execution & Effectiveness.
