Process Design Engineer - Oil & Gas Industry (1-7 yrs)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Design Engineer to join our team. As a Process Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing processes in the oil and gas industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by providing innovative and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in process design for the oil and gas industry
- Strong knowledge of process simulation software (e.g. Aspen HYSYS)
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g. API, ASME)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
Roles And Responsibilities
- Design and optimize processes in the oil and gas industry
- Develop process flow diagrams, heat and material balances, and piping and instrument diagrams
- Conduct feasibility studies and simulation analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful execution of projects
- Identify and resolve process-related issues
- Utilize industry software and tools to perform process design calculations
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers
