Qualifications: Degree in Chemical Engineering

Experience

- 6 to 8 yrs of experience in Process Designing, Projects

- Process Safety Management practitioner

- Management Exposed to Construction, Projects Installation and Commissioning activities for new Chemicals/ Formulation Unit.

- Good awareness on Engineering Fundamentals and capable for reading and interpreting Engineering Documents.

- Sound knowledge of manufacturing improvement strategies and approaches (e.g. OEE, Capacity Roadmap, Six Sigma, Lean, MTBF, MTTR, Failure Rates etc.)

Main mission, goal of position (Why this position should exist in the organization- )

- Improve efficiency of existing Unit processes & Operations like Filtration, Evaporation, Distillation, Spray drying, Reverse Osmosis, Mixing & Synthesis etc...

- Improvement in cycle time and troubleshooting of existing process

- Support the planning, design and execution of chemical-engineering projects to introduce new processes

Major areas of responsibility, main processes, tasks

- Development of Concept for difficult processes and Preparation of Process Design documents including PFDs, P&IDs, Mass Balance, Heat Balance, Equipment and Instruments Specifications sheet etc.

- Carry out Process Engineering Calculation - for example Relief Load Calculations, Hydraulic Calculations etc. (Not inclusive all)

- Ensure high EHS standards during design and operation of facility

- Ensure high Process Safety standards for existing facilities and new projects, includes HAZOP, Area Classification, Safety Instrumented Function, Design Verification, Management of Change and pre start up safety reviews etc.

- Coordination with other engineering disciplines during project phase - Electricals, Mechanical, Instruments, Projects Management and Civil

- Make sure trouble free start-up of new facility

- Design, Selection and Commissioning of efficient Process/ Utility systems

- Identifying, Designing and Implementing Productivity Improvement & Energy Conservation Ideas

- Effective communication within and outside Company
