Process Engineer - HAZOP (4-10 yrs)
We require Process Engineers (10 in number) on contract basis (3-4 months) for our client, an MNC Consulting firm in Oil & Gas/Petroleum sector.
Responsibilities :
1. Concept study for various Oil and gas projects
2. Front-End Engineering for surface facility, Conceptual Design (CD) and Detailed Design (DD) activities
3. Preparation of Process Design Packages for Oil & Gas and Chemical Industries with wide exposure to process engineering activities covering following:
- Basic Engineering activities for Offshore Wellhead and production facility
- HYSYS simulation modelling, Hydrate formation study
- Dynamic simulation study for Phase behaviour in UNISIM, over pressurisation check and control study
- Slug analysis by using PIPESIM
- Good knowledge of Flare calculation, Vent stack and Flare knock out vessel calculations.
- Hydraulic calculation (PIPESIM)
- Preparation of Process Flow Schemes, Material Balance and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
- Participation in Retrospective HAZOP studies carried out for existing oil and gas facilities. Facility includes Oil separation & export, Gas dew-pointing, Water injection system etc.
- Responsible for close-out of all Hazop actions. Interaction with Operations team at site to know the operational concerns
- Dispersion and radiation calculation - Hazard consequence modelling package to study - Fire, Release, Explosion & Dispersion- of toxic & flammable gases for various cases such as relief / draining, Hazardous area classification
- Ensure HSE regulation and standard requirement
Requirements : BE/BTECH in Petrochemical/Chemical Engg with 4-10 yrs of Process Engineering Experience
