Process Engineer - Machining (6-9 yrs)

Job Description for Machining Process Engineer:

- Optimization & Value addition for the Existing Tooling, Production Layout, Productivity enhancement, Waste Elimination, Cost Reduction.

- Introduction of new practices in Manufacturing for productivity enhancement.

- Process Finalization

- Responsible for the complete part development right from the RFQ stage till the SOP/PPAP stage & official handover to the production team.

- Programming of VMC, HMC, & Turning Center Machine.

- Coordination with customer / vendor for new product development activities.

- Proto-type parts development within project time line as per customer requirement.

- Responsible for Sample submission & approval from customer.

- Prepare and monitor the Time plan of the project and periodic reviews with the CFT.

- Reduced customer complaints by implementing innovative process improvements.

- Daily review Meeting's with the team & closely monitoring the development schedule of the running projects.

- Conducting APQP cycles for the Products.

- Identification of the Project Hurdles well in advance & making the alternatives to achieve the same.

- Responsible for Poke Yoke, Safety in new equipment, technical specification, Capacity, Line balancing.

- Acting as the key member during the customer audits & part approval.

- Expertise in Machining Fixture, Assembly Fixture, Cutting Tools & New

Product Development - Overall Costing of part, fixtures and jigs Cost.

- Participated in the project to increase O.E.E.

- Responsible for PQCDMS parameter of shop.

- To be involve in VA/VE activities to reduce the Cycle time & product Cost, and assist in Optimal Selection of machines to reduce the investments.
