Process Engineer - Wastewater Treatment Industry (6-10 yrs)
- Adherence to Quality System for all design work carried out
- Understand and apply commercial aspects of the project (time, cost, warranties) in designs.
- Work collaboratively with staff including colleagues located in international offices.
Develop, maintain, and update Design Documentation including:
- PFDs, P&IDs,
- Process Calculations,
- Functional Description, Alarm and control set point, Control sequence table,
- Operation Manual.
- Participate in HAZOP / HAZID /SIL study.
Experience / Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of water and/or wastewater process design and water and/or wastewater plant detailed design, including conventional and membrane filtration technologies.
- Experience in project delivery, commissioning and/or operation of water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
- Experience of Recycle Plant Design and ZLD plant design.
- Minimum experience of 8 to 10 years in Process Design.
Skills / Abilities:
- Working understanding of other engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, civil)
- Excellent English language written and verbal communication and skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems
- Understanding economic principles such as balance between CapEx and OpEx, to achieve an optimised design that meets the customer's needs and business strategies.
- Understanding of how commercial and contractual matters impact technical designs (including warranty and operations liabilities).
- Thorough understanding of water chemistry
- Understanding of technical standards
