Process Engineer - Wastewater Treatment Plant (8-10 yrs)
Position : Process Engineer
Experience - 8 to 10 years
- Knowledge of water/ wastewater process design and water / wastewater plant detailed design, including conventional & membrane filtration technologies.
Location : Aundh, Pune
Qualification : B.E /B.Tech Chemical Engineering
Job Description :
Develop, maintain, and update Design Documentation including :
- PFDs, P&IDs
- Process Calculations
- Functional Description, Alarm and control set point, Control sequence table
- Operation Manual.
- Participate in HAZOP/HAZID /SIL study.
- Liaise with 3rd party consultants, contractors, and advisors as appropriate.
- Develop with assistance from Sales staff appropriate tender documentation including process descriptions, technical specifications, and technical schedules.
- Advise and support the Project team and projects support functions in areas of process design.
- Attend and participate in internal and external (customer) project meetings and represent company in a professional manner.
- Inform team leaders, managers, and project teams as soon as any delays to work commitments are identified.
- Seek to overcome any obstacles to meeting committed deadlines.
Technical review :
- Critical evaluation of the detailed design work undertaken by others in the team.
- Provide feedback on detailed process design work.
- Seek opportunities for improvement
Business Improvement :
- Provide solutions for non-conforming products and safety and environmental incidents.
- Investigate and close out Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) and Non- Conformance Report (NCR) issues
- Contribute to culture of innovation by seeking and developing innovations.
- Contribute to the innovation committee by making suggestions for improvements.
- Update and maintain systems as required.
- Ensure compliance quality systems including document management processes.
- Experience in project delivery, commissioning and/or operation of water and/or wastewater treatment plants.
- Experience providing design support to international offices/locations.
