Process Engineering Lead - Silvassa.

- For an Indian multinational technology company, headquartered in Mumbai, specialized in optical fiber and cables, hyper-scale network design, and deployment and network software. 8+ yrs of experience in cable Manufacturing Industry, with at least Six Sigma Black Belt certification. Responsible for business growth by supporting New product development with a focus on revenue generation from New Products. Cost reduction initiatives through Process Improvements, Design optimization and alternate material developments. -

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive high levels of process control processes to ensure high levels of FTR,OEE and Process Capability Index (CPK)

2. Drive problem solving & quality culture through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

3. Drive Business growth by supporting New product development with a focus on 20% revenue generation from New Products

4. Support SCM team in identification of alternative raw material for Business continuity

5. Build sustainable processes to support Scrap reduction

6. Drive Variable Cost reduction initiatives through Process Improvements, Design optimization and alternate material developments

7. Drive high levels of skills through deployment of Skill Matrix and periodical functional trainings in shop floor

8. Build best in class processes for tool room management and support SCM in development of new vendors for toolings

9. Drive high levels of trust and motivation in the team to build a performance oriented work culture

10. Drive product and machine capacity and capabili

Other Requirements-

1. High variability in product designs : 250 - 350 designs

2. Frequent changes in manpower managing machine operations

3. Focus on troubleshooting for immediate solutions as against long term problem solving

4. Cost Optimization B.E./B.Tech (Mech/Elect/Elect) with 8-10 yrs of experience in Manufacturing Industry, with atleast Six Sigma Black Belt certification
