PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

Education

B.E. Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: B.E. Mechanical with 1-2 years

Specific Industry Experience

Engineering Industry (Having Automation, Machine Building, Capital Equipment Purchases)

Key Areas of Responsibility

- Procurement of Raw Material, Consumables, Hardware, BOF Items & vendor development

- Supplier assignment and negotiation with Supplier

- Timely delivery of procurement items as per quality requirements

- Cost effective budget base procurement

- QMS, EMS & OHSAS implementation related to Procurement activities

Knowledge and Skill requirement

- Costing

- Taxation

- Drawing reading and process planning of engineering components

- SAP Knowledge MM Module

- Vendor development

- Negotiation

Other

We are specifically looking for someone with experience in purchase of Bought outs components like gear boxes, gear motors, couplings, switches, etc.

Someone with SAP experience would be preferred but not mandatory. 1-3 yrs experience profile would be ideal
