Procurement Executive (1-3 yrs)
Job Title: Procurement Executive

Reporting To: Operations Head
Job Purpose
To support procurement operations by ensuring timely purchase of materials and services at optimal cost and quality, through effective vendor coordination, market visits, and on-ground assessments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, stationery, and outsourced services
- Prepare RFQs, price comparisons, and purchase orders
- Travel to different cities to meet vendors and suppliers as required
- Conduct vendor site visits to check quality standards, production capacity, and capabilities
- Coordinate with internal teams for material planning and timelines
- Support commercial negotiations under guidance of the Procurement Manager
- Follow up with vendors for pricing, delivery schedules, and compliance
- Maintain procurement documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, contracts)
- Support inventory control and timely material availability
- Ensure GST and company policy compliance
- Prepare basic procurement MIS and reports
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Good vendor coordination and negotiation skills
- Understanding of quality parameters and specifications
- Proficiency in MS Excel; basic ERP knowledge preferred
- Strong communication, follow-up, and reporting skills
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Commerce / Management / Engineering / Supply Chain
- MBA or procurement certification (preferred)
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to manufacturing, printing, or education materials
- Experience in vendor audits, quality checks, or sourcing activities
