Procurement Head - Supply Chain (15-20 yrs)
EXPERIENCE 15- 20 Years of Post Qualification Experience in Capital / Engineering procurement at a senior level position - large /heavy manufacturing industry.
JOB PROFILE :
- Global sourcing Capital equipments, Industrial products, engineering spares, consumables and other products.
- Evaluation of bids and award of jobs/annual contracts for materials and services.
- Development of new supplier's common across all businesses in the group
- To ensure all purchase orders should have comments from Finance department on financial matters particularly Taxation issues, LC conditions, Payments Terms etc.
- Responsible for creating check and balances for all purchases by plant purchase dept. and Head office and ensure compliance and random audit.
- Running entire Supply chain
- Exposure into DGFT, Export-Import documentation & certification through inspecting agencies.
- Good Contact with OEM.
- Generating MIS
- Review of the Audit observation with respect to the procurement and transportation contracts and taking corrective actions.
- Leading and mentoring team
- Develop and review departmental processes time to time to align with organization goals.
- Cost reduction
- Visit plant/(s), vendors and other Internal and external stake holder on matters of importance
- Any other additional responsibility that may be entrusted from time to time.

- Street smart attitude.
- Strong focus on delivery and results with high drive and energy levels
- Proven ability to manage complexity within budgeted resources
- Ability to perform tasks outside the defined job description, if necessary
