Procurement Manager - FMCG (8-12 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Manager to ensure that our supply chain and logistics operations function effectively. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent problem-solving mindset and a strong attention to detail, remaining organized while managing a large network of suppliers and distributors. In this role, you will work closely with other departments, such as Operations and Finance, to create effective business plans, making teamwork skills essential.

Objectives:
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and distributors.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely deliveries.
- Protect the brand's image and reliability.
- Foster practices that encourage growth.
- Analyse shipping and delivery data to identify optimization opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Create the company's supply chain strategy
- Communicate with stakeholders
- Enforce strict adherence to safety standards
- Evaluate and report on KPIs
- Documents knowledge for Exports and imports and forecasts based on ETA and ETD
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Maintain inventory and records
- Train and guide employees
- Find cost-effective solutions
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g., delays in delivery)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create coordinated plans for business growth
- Ensure processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within Logistics in an FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of purchasing and warehousing functions
- Working experience with relevant software (e.g., ERP, SAP)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- A commodity buying experience is highly desirable
- Prior experience in managing a high volume of SKUs
- Strong analytical skills

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor- s/Master's degree in Business Administration, or Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years- experience in Procurement with FMCG
- Certificate in Procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is preferred
