Procurement Manager - Material Management (15-20 yrs)
Job Description :
- Manage the whole chain of procurement process for Raw Materials (Packaging Materials and Engineering Materials and Capital Equipments)
- Build procurement organisations from scratch and lead them successfully.
- Formulate procurement strategic plans to enhance operations for smooth execution of plants.
- Devise Negotiation strategies.
- Resolve all commercial issues.
- Design, implement and monitor effective procurement schedules.
- Maintain Procurement Reports for effective control over Procurement functions.
- Identify and develop a dedicated and alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchases of equipment, raw materials & packaging materials and reduction in delivery time.
- Assessment of the performance of the vendors
- Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery, quality checks & to ensure timely payments
- Short list vendors, make techno-commercial recommendations, conduct negotiations, award Purchase Orders.
- Check all invoices, co-ordinate with Finance & Accounts to ensure timely payments are made to vendors.
