Product Design Manager - CATIA/CAD - Metrology (10-15 yrs)
Product design & development - Metrology to a leading concern in Coimbatore Location.
Position : Manager / Assistant Manager Metrology
Experience : 10-15 Years
Salary : Negotiable

General Description :
- 10-15 years of Experience in Automotive Product design & development explicitly in BIW or Powertrain or Vehicle/Platform with detailed Manufacturing process experience, CAD tools (Creo2.0/ UG/ Catia), Vehicle
- Benchmarking knowledge
Domain : Mechanical
- Detailed automotive knowledge on complete product life cycle with core experience in Design & Development
- Should be familiar with engineering knowledge & quality tools.
- Expertise in 3D CAD modelling & 2D drawings in multiple CAD environments with right modelling approach.
- Experience in one or more of the PLM/PDM software such as Team Center etc.,
- Knowledge & hands on experience in design tools like DFMEA, DFMA, DVP, CAE.
- Excellent problem solving, solid analytical competency and strong communication skills.
- Should be knowledgeable on Competitor analysis, Bench marking & Reverse engineering technologies.
- Also, must have the knowledge on the optical scanning & physical measurements.
- Must have knowledge in Metallurgy area like material testing etc.,
- Contribute to new business initiatives, projects, reviews, developing mitigation plans and manage project risks.
- Ensure On time delivery with First time right consistently by setting KPI's for the team/ associates and assessments.
- Experience in managing a team with cohesion and strong leadership skills to meet Quality, Time & Cost.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice engineering, vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Coordinate and own the subsystem level deliverables with offshore team (Input preparation, coordinate with Automotive design & development (Creo2.0 or CATIA V5 R23) preferably with OEM or Tier 1 specifically handling Vehicle integration or Platform level.
