Product Development Manager, NCR

ABOUT THE JOB

Its a mix of product development 35% + assistance in product production 35%+ product ergonomics 20%+ product design 10%.

- Product Development Manager who would be responsible to develop new products and also actively involved to improve product performance from customers perspective.

- In the Product Offer Development team the Product Development Manager is responsible for securing all parts of technical perspective in the product development. Responsible for planning and leading the technical resources in the product development projects. Securing project timeline with Project Management tools.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Tasks will include:

- Jointly responsible for developing, revising and leading implementation of action plan for cluster of products. New developments, improvements in performance of running products and also includes if there is development at new manufacturing base

- Responsible for execution of new developments, actual projects based on total action plan in the Business Area/

- The PDM is:

- Responsible for the product development projects from technical perspective based on total value chain

- Responsible to identify, involve, plan and lead needed technical testing requirements for the products.

- Responsible for securing ORGANIZATION- S's strategies and directions from a technical perspective in product offer

- Responsible for planning and maximizing usage of ORGANIZATION- S Shared Solutions in product development from a technical perspective

- Responsible to identify and specify need for components, fittings and parts outside of ORGANIZATION- S Shared solutions to be integrated in product development projects

- Accountable for the construction of a product along all technical aspects

- Accountable for creating technical requirements into a verified technical solution based on identified customer needs.

- Accountable for the development of packaging solution for the product offer, based on input from commercial and supply chain competencies

- Accountable for calculation of material utilization and related cost calculations.

- Challenge our point of view and drive creativity through understanding and using latest technical development in relevant industries, enabling best in class product offers

- Contribute to long-term technical development and strategies

PROFILE

knowledge, skills and experience include:

- Experience- 8 to 10 years- experience in Product Development and Manufacturing

- Education- Relevant university technical degree

- Good understanding of how your everyday work adds customer value by delivering to Democratic Design

Competencies

- Fluent in English

- Analytical skills

- Detailed oriented

- Proactive and solution oriented Organized and capable to prioritize

- Ability to work in the team.

- Ability to navigate with multiple stakeholders

- Ability to deal with multi tasks within given time frame

- Experience in Supply Chain Knowledge in Capacity Planning
