Job Description :

Product Line Management

Key responsibilities:

- Product Structure and Configuration Strategy

- Manage Product Structure- Define and optimize core/option tree. Manage Price/Cost master for the Product options

- Maintain Product Catalog

- Implement Product changes to the released product

- Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for Material Cost Reduction

- Product Health Reviews

- Review the Product portfolio and Product options in the context of current Business needs and initiate necessary engineering projects, where necessary

- Manage the resolution of Field issues and ensure machine up time partnering with Supply chain and other cross-functional teams

System Configuration

- Review of Non-standard requests from the customers and analysis of the impact on Standard product offering

Program Management

- Manage the new products development, and changes to the released products partnering with Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials and Supply chain teams

Engineering Change Control

- Lead the meeting to review the Engineering change requests affecting the products

- Create detailed product change notifications for internal and external customers of the changes planned on the products along with the implementation plan

Skills and Experience:

- MBA/ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering - Mechanical/Industrial/Production/ Electrical/Electronics

- Typically 5+ years- experience in New product development/Product Management/Supply chain management/Manufacturing

- Adept in data analysis and conversant with MS Office tools - Excel, Powerpoint, Visio

- Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule

- Experience working with any ERP tool (Oracle/SAP etc.) is preferable

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

- No people responsibilities but would provide technical guidance to the team
