Product Manager (10-14 yrs)
Job Location: Nagpur
Education: B.Tech. / M.Tech. Mechanical or Automobile
Professional Experience: 10 Years+
Salary Budget: CTC 10 LPA to CTC 15 LPA
1. JOB PURPOSE
This position exists to manage the entire product management activities to increase efficiency, improve customer experience by monitoring execution within overall product strategy. This position also responsible to manage activities related to Pricing, Benchmarking and NPD.
2. RESPONSIBILITY
Details of Responsibilities
1 Receive business targets from automotive team and provide product wise forecast to plants
2 Prepare a detailed product management plan with timelines, budgets and milestone in line with customer and organisational requirements
3 Coordinate with plants to fulfil commitments to ensure availability of products as required
4 Study and respond to suggestions given by customers or stake holders related to possible improvements
5 Analyse the market for competitors products and whether there is gap for organisation to fill
6 Suggest features and products that can be introduced for the specific market or product segment
7 Establish a interface with Design & Development and Technical services team for introduction of new products as per requirements
8 Analyse costing and dimensions related activities for packaging of the product in line with customer requirements
9 Ensure that systems (ERP/SAP) are updated with required data with respect to orders, payments and debits
10 Design dealer schemes for Domestic Auto sections in line with business targets
11 Design metrics to track success of dealer schemes
12 Track and monitor reports from field sales team as per investigation of complaints in case of warranty failures
13 Track the defect analysis as per nature of the products with Design & Development, Quality team and Plant Heads
14 Track and review daily billing activities and dispatch plan with logistics team
15 Ascertain improvements achieved through implementation and possible benefits in terms of ROI for the proposed ideas or actions to implement
16 Provide guidance to Technical Services and Design team from technology standpoint as and when required
17 Decide upon projects to be taken to develop the desired product as per requirements of customer
18 Resolve issues along with Technical Services team with respect to technical and application
19 Collect feedback from relevant stakeholders post productionisation of product and resolve issues post productionisation along with team
20 Coordinate with Vendor Development team to meet delivery of parts in line with dispatch plan
21 Incorporate NPD requirements received from Design & Development team in line with planning MIS
22 Drive adherence to all Customers, QMS, EHS requirements and ensure timely closure of NC's raised
