Product Manager - Chemical Engineering (8-16 yrs)
Education : MBA + B.Tech (Chemical or Mechanical) or B.Tech (Chemical or Mechanical)
Experience : 9-15 years of relevant experience
Industry : Paint/ Powder Coating/ Die Casting
B. Job Objective : Pragmatic product Management, enhancing user experience by planning and developing the specifications for a range of products or a product portfolio that meets your long-term strategic plan
C. Primary Responsibilities :
- Product Life Cycle Management
- Need assessment / market intelligence
Development :
- Work jointly with Sourcing team and participate in product development, validation, approval, etc for launch
- Product Line related Business Strategy
- Product (Non-Brand) Marketing
- Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through research, strategic planning and implementation.
Product Analysis :
- Work jointly with Sales & Mktg team and manage product launch, revenue target setting, course correction
- Value Engineering & Enhancement
- Delivers the operating plan: achievement of growth objectives including market share, revenue, profit and return on investment for all the channels/categories of business and/or key customers.
Training
- Technical Sales Support if needed
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent and competent authority
