Job Summary

We are a leading biotech manufacturing company, specializing in the production of high-quality

biotech equipment. We are looking for a Product & Bioprocess Specialist who will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting bioprocess equipment and systems, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities -

Process Design & Development: Design and develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and detailed process descriptions for bioprocess equipment such as stainless steel bioreactors, fermenters, and ultrafiltration systems.

Equipment Selection & Optimization: Assist in the selection of appropriate equipment and components, ensuring compatibility with process requirements and industry standards.

Process Validation & Testing: Conduct trials, validations, and troubleshooting for bioprocess equipment, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Pre-FAT, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and process simulations to optimize performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Automation & Control Philosophy: Develop and validate automation sequences such as Clean-in-Place (CIP), Steam-in-Place (SIP), and Pressure Hold Test (PHT), ensuring sterility and operational efficiency.

Technical Documentation: Prepare and review technical documents, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Control Philosophies (Valve Matrix), Flow Paths.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure seamless integration of process requirements into equipment fabrication.

Customer Support & Training: Assist in customer site installations, process troubleshooting, qualification of equipment, and training end-users on equipment operation and best practices.

Knowledge Transfer: Develop SOPs, training modules, and technical white papers to upskill internal teams and customers on bioprocess best practices.

Continuous Improvement: Analyze and improve bioprocess efficiency, scalability, and cost- effectiveness through innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of experience in bioprocess engineering, preferably within biotech manufacturing or equipment fabrication.

Skills :

- Strong understanding of bioprocess principles, fermentation technology, and ultrafiltration systems.

- Proficiency in process design software such as AutoCAD, Aspen Plus, or similar tools.

- Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and ISO regulations for biotech equipment manufacturing.

- Expertise in executing and troubleshooting FAT, Pre-FAT, and SAT.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Other Requirements:

- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site installations and customer support.

- Strong technical documentation and reporting skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
