Production Assistant - Fermentation (1-3 yrs)

Qualification : B.Sc ( Life science), B.Tech, M.Sc in life science with experience in relevant field
Location : Doddaballapura, Bangalore (willing to relocate)
Job Description :
End to end proven large fermenter operation skills, practical knowledge on media, buffer preparations and harvest. Upstream, downstream fermentation process and knowledge on SCADA is essential.
Roles and responsibility :
- Media/buffer preparation, Sterilization of fermenter & air filters,
- Handling Scaling up process - seed media & seed fermenter, Aseptic transfer of cultures.
- Utility transfer lines operation.
- Monitoring the batch fermentation process including pH, temperature control system and bacterial/ fungal growth.
- Operations and maintenance of boiler, chiller, cooling tower & air compressor.
- Should work on downstream fermentation processes
- Handling of filtration unit. Documentation of BMR & process manufacturing record.
